I’m Jaclynn Marie, the author behind the blog 🙂
I’m a 22 year old Christian girl from sunny California who can often be found sipping a cup of coffee or laughing with my family.
The best way I could describe myself is to say that I am much like a Hobbit.
I find beauty in the simple things and am quite content to stay in the comforts of home. Though, much like Bilbo and Frodo, I have a bit of wanderlust and long to explore more of the world’s beauty.
Also like our dear hobbit friends, I’m short, have naturally curly hair, and am always walking around barefoot XD
A few more random facts about me:
– I love donuts and coffee, Disney and Star Wars, music and laughter.
– Before being a non-fiction blogger, I loved writing stories and won NaNoWriMo for the first time in 2018.
– I am a hopeless romantic and hardcore shipper 😉
– I’m the youngest in my family and a very proud auntie to 2 beautiful nieces <3
– I’m an ENFJ
And now, saving the best for last…
I think it is important to say that I am no saint. I’m a sinner who has been saved by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:1-10) and I am learning every day what it means to live for Jesus and walk like Him. Anything I share on this blog is from my own personal experience (or observation) and from studying God’s Word. I do my absolute best to make sure what I say in my writing lines up with scripture.
I’m not looking for any glory or praise – that all belongs to God. My hope is that through this blog you will be encouraged, inspired, and fueled with a stronger desire to know your Heavenly Father.
Being a Christ Follower is far from easy. The more I learn what it means to follow and be more like Christ, the more overwhelmed I can feel. However, we are never going to be the perfect Christian. All we can do is our best every single day to live for Him. Making progress is our goal. 🙂
I hope you will join me as a fellow Star Gazer as we walk through this life with our eyes on The Morning Star – Jesus Christ <3
